A pure act of unparalleled devotion and faith..Seen here is Thinna Replacing the second eye to lord Shiva and since after amputation he would totally rendered vision less to perform the feat he uses his feet to mark the location of the eye and when he is about to amputate the second eye lord shiva appears out of the linga and stops him..And rest is history of ordinary Tinna elated to highest order in Saivaism as one of the Nayanar to be fondly called Kannappa Nayanar
